Finally Overcome Anxiety.
You didn’t choose your anxiety; it’s something your brain learned without you noticing.
What if you could retrain your brain to be calm?
Just like you didn’t choose your original accent. However, you may have chosen to change your accent – is it possible to change your anxious brain in the same way?
Anxiety is a collection of mental habits your brain learned while you were not looking. You can “learn to unlearn” those mental behaviours that lead to anxiety, and develop new habitual thinking patterns that lead you to calm, confidence and resilience.
Could changing your brain’s default mental habits be of help to you?

What you need to know is that you are not alone in what you’re going through. Because so many people have their lives restricted by anxiety, a huge amount of knowledge and skill has been developed to help people like you to get past these difficulties.
As a private therapist and coach of over 30 years, I have been helping people regain control of their life through a variety of approaches. Over the years I have added many tools and techniques to my portfolio of skills, including:
and I’m adding new skills whenever research in science shows them to be effective.
Over the last 15 years, scientists have discovered and documented the details of brain activity in individuals struggling with anxiety, as well as developing a good understanding of how to make lasting change. This new knowledge has significantly improved how coaches and therapists are able to help our clients.
If the solution to your difficulties were simple or obvious to you, you would already have done it. So, some professional help would probably be of benefit to you.
Regardless of how we label our sessions together, the disciplines of anxiety coaching, anxiety counselling, and anxiety therapy are beginning to merge. By applying the most scientific evidence-based approaches, we can work together to identify what is happening in your mind and brain, and then find the best ways for you to make changes.
I will help you to apply the strategies, techniques, and tools necessary for your individual situation. Together we’ll match your life experiences together with the latest research-based tools I can teach you.
To ensure the solutions fit well into your life, our sessions will be a team effort to discover which methods are most appropriate for you. By employing such a collaborative approach, you will be enabled to get where you want to be more quickly, and more effectively. Not only that; research shows that this approach leads to faster and more permanent improvements for clients.
Possible benefits to you of our sessions together include:
There are a variety of symptoms associated with stress and anxiety, which can be improved with the private therapy sessions I offer. From reducing the occurrence of triggers, to discovering better coping methods, together we can work to improve issues such as:
These improvements happen because you will be changing your thinking patterns and your automatic responses to situations, people, or your own emotions.
Within our brain, anxiety works as a complex set of processes which evolved to keep us safe. The feeling of anxiety significantly increases our levels of focus and vigilance, and further motivates us to attempt to escape threatening situations, using a variety of methods. However, this mechanism can become too sensitive or overactive, and that’s when it causes us problems. You may begin to feel anxious at the idea of feeling anxious, or even experience panic attacks concerning future events.
It is this excessive anxiety that is the major problem for most people and for 30 years I have been helping people to understand and overcome this.
If you answer yes to more than 3 of the following questions, please reach out to me – I may well be able to help you.

Coaches, therapists, and counsellors have needed to find better ways of helping their clients during this pandemic. This has led to many of us working either on the phone or online services like Skype or Zoom.

My clients come to me in order to make changes, changes in their lives outside of the practice room. When sessions are in a place they know, we can make sure that what we’re doing fits with the real situation, helping changes to happen quicker and more sustainably.
